Tue, June 27, 2006 - 3:53 PM"Smart" meaning "a thing totally not intended for that use but cheaper or earth-friendlier"?
I'm thinking athelete's foot is a fungal infection, so use an antifungal, like Lamisil or Lotrimin. Dunno if that's smart enough for ya, but it seems to make sense.
Hopefully Miss E isn't correct about it being psoriasis, cause that shit's a real pain in the ass. If you've got the insurance or the means, see a dermatologist for a proper diagnosis. If it is psoriasis, it's better to start treatment sooner rather than later. -

Wed, July 5, 2006 - 7:00 PMnah, it's not psoriasis... by "smart" I mean something not off the shelf, not necessarly intended for. Like, did you know that soap is a fine insecticide? It gums up their lungs, little pests.

Thu, July 6, 2006 - 5:32 AMFor athlete's foot my husband uses Vick's Vapor Rub.
He puts it on every night until the athlete's foot is gone (if you try this, wear your socks over the Vick's because it's really greasy).
It usually only takes about 3 applications to get rid of his athlete's foot.
My best friend soaks his feet in mild bleach water. Says it works great for him.
I wouldn't recommend using either of the above on your scalp though.
